PACIFIC GROVE – On Tuesday, 7 March 2023, the “Camino Monterey” will begin at 7:45am with Mass at San Carlos Cathedral, 500 Church Street, followed by a walk to Mission Basilica San Carlos Borromeo del Río Carmelo (Carmel Mission Basilica), 3080 Rio Road.
This Lenten walk in the footsteps of Saint Junípero Serra will be led by Fr Peter Crivello, pastor of Saint Angela Merici, and will include prayers, reflections, and snacks. A deli lunch will be provided upon arrival at Carmel Mission Basilica, followed by a personal guided tour of the mission.
This “Camino Monterey” event is one of the parish of Saint Angela Merici‘s “SAMDAG” fundraiser offerings, and some spaces are still available at a cost of $50. Please sign-up by Tuesday, 28 February 2023 by calling the parish office at 831-655-4160 or stop by in person.
