CARMEL VALLEY – On Saturday, 4 March 2023, the parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 9 El Caminito Road, will be having a Lenten Talk: Preparing for Easter by the Very Rev. Cyprian Consiglio, OSB Cam., Prior of the New Camaldoli Hermitage in Big Sur.
Fr Consiglio will celebrate the 4:30pm Sunday Vigil Mass, with talk scheduled to begin immediately after at 5:30pm.
Ordained to the priesthood in 1998 by the Most Rev. Sylvester D. Ryan, 3rd Bishop of Monterey in California, Fr Consiglio is a composer, musician, and the author of three books, the most recent being The God Who Gave You Birth.
