APTOS – On Sunday, 30 April 2023, the parish of Resurrection, 7600 Soquel Drive, will celebrate the blessing of the statue of the Good Shepherd immediately following the 10:15am Mass.
This statue of the Good Shepherd to be blessed was given to the parish upon the 2022 closure of the Good Shepherd Catholic School. This statue formerly stood in front of the 55-year-old Catholic school.
“We are honored that it was given to us. All are invited. We especially want to
extend an invitation to the students, faculty, staff, alumni & families of Good Shepherd Catholic School”.
The plaque reads:
“I am the Good Shepherd. I know My sheep, and My sheep know Me’ (John 10:14).
