Marian Eucharistic Conference

Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta

SANTA BARBARA – On Friday, 18 August and Saturday, 19 August 2023, the fourth annual Marian Eucharistic Conference will take place at the parish of Saint Raphael, 5444 Hollister Avenue. The theme of this year’s conference is “May the Fiat of Your Kingdom Come”, based upon the writings of the Servant of God Luisa Picaretti.

Known as the “Little Daughter of the Divine Will”, Luisa Piccarreta (1865-1947) was a Catholic mystic and author whose spirituality centered on union with the Will of God. Her confessor was Saint Annibale Maria di Francia, OCDS (1851-1927). Her cause for beatification and canonization was opened in 1994 by the Archdiocese of Trani-Barletta-Bisceglie. By October 2005, her cause progressed to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Causes of Saints and she was titled posthumous title of Servant of God.

Speakers include:

  • Fr Dave Leon, teacher of the Divine Will and chaplain for the cause of beatification and canonization of the Servant of God Luisa Picaretti.
  • Daniel O’Connor, author of The Crown of Sanctity and Thy Will Be Done. He is an avid speaker on the Divine Will.
  • Ann Ellison, speaker and translator of the writings of the Servant of God Luisa Picaretti. She runs the Divine Will Center in Florida.
  • Fr Sam Medley, SOLT, who has the beautiful charism of speaking about the Blessed Virgin Mary, will also be available throughout the day to hear confessions.
