NCCW Looking To Establish Local Presence

The National Council of Catholic Women is a national organization founded in 1920. They are partners with organizations such as Catholic Relief Services, Cross Catholic Outreach, Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Catholic Climate Covenant, and others.

In addition to an annual convention, they offer spirituality, opportunities to enhance personal faith formation and to address current social issues with prayer and programs.

They are organized into provinces, and within our province they are particularly active in the Diocese of Orange. They are interested in inviting women from the Diocese of Monterey in California to consider becoming involved in the organization, and through that, help also the local parish activities.

Women interested in more information can contact Jackie Brandon, Director of the L.A. Province, at jmissjacks@roadrunner.com.
