SANTA MARIA – The Legion of Mary of the parish of Saint Mary of the Assumption, 414 E. Church Street, meets every Friday at 1:15pm in the parish library.
The Legion of Mary (Latin: Legio Mariae) is an international association of Catholics who serve on a voluntary basis. It was founded in Dublin as a Marian movement by the Servant of God Frank Duff (1889-1980). Today, active and auxiliary (praying) members make up a total of over 10 million members worldwide, making it the largest apostolic organization of laypeople in the Church.
