FILLMORE – On Saturday, 14 March 2026, the parish of Saint Francis of Assisi, 1048 West Ventura Street, will host The Spiritual and Psychological Wisdom of the Prayer of Saint Francis with Paul Brogan at 10am.
The presentation is being offered in connection with the centenary commemorations associated with Saint Francis of Assisi, marking one hundred years since his canonization in 1228 and inviting renewed reflection on his enduring spiritual legacy.
The well-known prayer traditionally attributed to Saint Francis reflects themes of peace, charity, mercy, and self-giving love. It calls Christians to become instruments of reconciliation, to seek understanding rather than division, and to place the needs of others before themselves. Through both spiritual insight and practical application, the talk will explore how these principles foster interior healing and contribute to harmony within families, communities, and society at large.
