VENTURA – On Sunday, 12 April 2026, the Eucharistic Apostolate of Divine Mercy Cenacle and the Religious Education Program of the parish of Sacred Heart, 10800 Henderson Road, will be observing Divine Mercy Sunday with a procession and student-led recitation of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 10:10am, followed by Mass at 10:30am. Following Mass, there will be a blessing of sacramentals and the veneration of a first-class relic of Saint John Paul II.
The Sunday of Divine Mercy is observed on the Second Sunday of Easter, concluding the Octave of Easter, and is associated with the Divine Mercy devotion recorded by Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska of the Blessed Sacrament, OLM (1905-1938).
