WESTLAKE VILLAGE — On Friday, 27 March 2026, the parish of Saint Jude the Apostle, 32032 W. Lindero Canyon Road, will host actor Tom Pelphrey at 6pm in the Parish Hall. Pelphrey is slated to portray Jesus in the upcoming podcast The Christ, a four-part audio production presenting the Gospel narrative from the Nativity through the Resurrection.
According to the event description, The Christ features voice performances, sound design, and musical elements intended to bring the story to life. Pelphrey, born 28 July 1982, is known for his work in television and film, including roles in Guiding Light, As the World Turns, Banshee, Iron Fist, Ozark, Outer Range, Love & Death, Task, Mank, and American Murderer. He has received two Daytime Emmy Awards and an additional Emmy nomination for his performance in Ozark.
