NEWBURY PARK – Beginning Sunday, 3 May 2026, the parish of Saint Julie Billiart, 2475 Borchard Road, will implement a revised weekend Mass schedule. The new schedule will include a Saturday Mass at 5pm, and Sunday Masses at 8am, 10am, 12pm, and 6:30pm (Spanish).
The Sunday 5pm Mass will be discontinued as of that date.
Additionally, beginning Wednesday, 6 May 2026, the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation will be offered on Wednesdays from 4pm until 5pm in the parish church, replacing the previous Saturday schedule.
According to a message from Fr. Ian-Vincent Hagan, the pastor of the parish, the changes were made following a period of evaluation that considered attendance patterns, clergy availability, and the long-term sustainability of the parish’s liturgical schedule. The adjustment also reflects broader considerations regarding the availability of priests and the demands placed on clergy in serving parish communities.
