SANTA CRUZ – The Bereavement Ministry of the parish of Holy Cross, 210 High Street, meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 10am in the Pastoral Center for a bereavement support discussion.
The gatherings provide an opportunity for those experiencing grief to reflect on the emotional and spiritual challenges that often follow loss, including feelings of anxiety, uncertainty, and distress. Such experiences, sometimes described as a form of deep unease or “angst”, are a common part of the grieving process and may become more pronounced after the loss of a loved one.
Those who have experienced a recent loss are especially encouraged to attend. Individuals who are unable to participate but wish to receive a summary of the discussion may contact the parish office at 831-423-4182.
