Saint Jude in Marina

MARINA – The parish of Saint Jude, 303 Hillcrest Avenue, offers a Chaldean Mass on the first Saturday of each month at 6:30pm.

The Chaldean Mass is the Eucharistic liturgy of the Chaldean Catholic Church, an Eastern Catholic Church in full communion with Rome. Rooted in the Syriac tradition and often celebrated in Aramaic, the language of Jesus, it reflects an ancient form of worship marked by rich symbolism and a distinct liturgical heritage.

The Chaldean Catholic Church is one of the Eastern Catholic Churches (sui iuris) within the universal Church and follows the East Syriac Rite. Headed by the Patriarch of Babylon of the Chaldeans and historically centered in Iraq, the Church has a significant presence both in the Middle East and among diaspora communities throughout the world.
