SAN LUIS OBISPO – On Thursday, 14 May 2026, the parish of Saint Anne Byzantine Catholic Church, 222 E. Foothill Boulevard, will be celebrating the Great Feast of the Ascension of our Lord, God, and Saviour Jesus Christ, a holy day of obligation for Catholics of the Byzantine rite.
Nota bene: In the Roman Catholic Ecclesiastical Province of Los Angeles, the Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord is transferred to the Seventh Sunday of Easter on 17 May 2026.
On Wednesday, 13 May 2026, confessions will be heard from 5:30pm until 6pm, followed by the celebration of the Vigil Vesperal Divine Liturgy at 6:30pm.
On Thursday, 14 May 2026, Festal Matins will be celebrated at 8am, followed by confessions from 9:15am until 9:30am. The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at 10am.
The parish of Saint Anne is a parish of the Holy Protection of Mary Byzantine Catholic Eparchy of Phoenix, which is a suffragan eparchy of the Byzantine Catholic Archeparchy of Pittsburgh.
