SIMI VALLEY – The Holy Souls in Purgatory Ministry of the parish of Saint Rose of Lima meets every Friday at 9:30am at Assumption Cemetery, located at 1380 Fitzgerald Road in Simi Valley. The gathering takes place near the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, where members of the Sisters of the Holy Cross are buried. In the event of rain, participants relocate to the cemetery’s mausoleum.
During each meeting, attendees divide into groups of five to pray the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary for the repose of the souls of the deceased.
