HOLY LAND – A Franciscan-led Christmas pilgrimage to the Holy Land will take place from Friday, 18 December through Sunday, 27 December 2026, offering participants the opportunity to visit many of the principal sites associated with the life of Christ and the history of salvation.
The pilgrimage itinerary includes Nazareth, Cana, the Sea of Galilee, the Jordan River, Jericho, Bethlehem, and Jerusalem, with visits planned to sites such as the Basilica of the Annunciation, the Church of the Nativity, the Mount of Beatitudes, Mount Tabor, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Pilgrims will also spend Christmas Day in Bethlehem and Jerusalem and participate in daily Mass throughout the journey.
The ten-day pilgrimage includes round-trip airfare from New York JFK, hotel accommodations, transportation, guided sightseeing, entrance fees, baggage handling, and meals according to the itinerary. The cost is $4,963 per person based on double occupancy, with an additional $850 for single occupancy. A land-only option is also available.
The pilgrimage is being offered through the Franciscan Holy Land Pilgrimages, which has organized pilgrimages to the Holy Land for many years as part of the Franciscan custodial presence in the region.
