VENTURA – The newly formed Our Lady of the Assumption Book Club will hold its next meeting on Monday, 29 June 2026, at 7pm at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, 4360 East Main Street.
The group will be discussing A Heart on Fire: Rediscovering Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by Father James Kubicki, S.J. The selection coincides with the recent consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus by the nation’s Catholic bishops and explores the history, meaning, and spiritual significance of this longstanding Catholic devotion.
