LOS OSOS – Beginning Sunday, 12 July 2026, the parish of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, 2050 Palisades Avenue, will offer Children’s Liturgy of the Word during the 9am Sunday Mass.
Designed for young children, the program invites participants to hear and reflect upon the Sunday Scripture readings at an age-appropriate level before returning to the congregation for the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The ministry helps children grow in their understanding of Sacred Scripture while participating more fully in the Church’s liturgical life.
The practice of Children’s Liturgy of the Word is celebrated in many Catholic parishes as a way of proclaiming and explaining the Word of God in a manner suited to the spiritual development of children.
