SAN LUIS OBISPO – On Sunday, 30 August 2026, the parish of Nativity of Our Lady, 221 Daly Avenue, will celebrate its Jubilee 2026 with a special parish Mass and barbecue.
The celebration will begin with a single parish Mass at 11am under a large tent on the field behind the church. Following the Mass, parishioners and guests are invited to enjoy a barbecue lunch prepared by The Rib Line, featuring beef, chicken, macaroni and cheese, salad, garlic bread, dessert, and a choice of lemonade, iced tea, or water. A vegetarian meal option will also be available.
Advance barbecue tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 12 and under. Beginning 22 August, adult tickets will increase to $35. Raffle tickets are also available for $1 each or 25 for $20.
The parish is also seeking volunteers to assist with preparations and activities throughout the celebration, including family games, as well as volunteers to provide homemade desserts to accompany the barbecue meal.
All are invited to join the parish community for this day of worship, fellowship, and celebration.
