CAMARILLO – On Saturday, 3 October 2026, the parish of Saint Mary Magdalen will hold a special Blessing of Animals in the courtyard of its historic chapel, 2532 Ventura Boulevard, immediately following the 8:30am Mass.
The blessing will be held in observance of the liturgical feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, whose love for creation gave rise to the Catholic custom of blessing animals around his feast day.
