SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — On Sunday, 4 October 2026, Catholics at several local parishes will participate in Rosary Coast to Coast, joining Catholics throughout the United States in praying the Rosary for the nation.
The annual observance coincides with the National Rosary Rally in Washington, D.C., and encourages Catholics throughout the country to gather locally in prayer. The national Rosary will be prayed simultaneously at 4pm Eastern and 1pm Pacific, although several local parishes have scheduled their local observances at other times during the day.
Participating county locations include:
- Saint Joseph in Cayucos at 9am
- Mission San Miguel Arcángel in San Miguel following the 11am Mass, with a procession to the garden area
- Saint Anne Byzantine Catholic Church in San Luis Obispo at 1:15pm in the church
- Saint Patrick in Arroyo Grande at 1pm in the parish hall
- Saint William in Atascadero at 1:30pm in the church
- Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton in Los Osos at 5pm
- Saint Joseph in Nipomo at 1pm in the parish hall
The national observance is being held in proximity to the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary on 7 October. Organizers describe Rosary Coast to Coast as a nationwide movement bringing Catholics together in public and parish settings to pray for the United States.
