SANTA BARBARA — On Saturday, 10 October 2026, the Women’s Faith and Fellowship Group at the parish of Mission Santa Barbara, 2201 Laguna Street, will meet from 9:15am until 11am in the Faith Formation Room.
The group will begin reading and discussing Interior Freedom by Fr Jacques Philippe, a French Catholic priest and spiritual author. The book explores the interior freedom available to Christians even amid difficult circumstances, emphasizing the roles of faith, hope, and love in developing a deeper spiritual life.
Coffee and morning refreshments will be available beginning at 9:15am, with the meeting starting at 9:30am. Participants may obtain a copy of Interior Freedom from major booksellers or by special order from Chaucer’s Books, although having the book is not required to attend.
All women of faith are welcome, and advance registration is not required. Entrance to the Faith Formation Room is through the last door at the end of the portico, past the Porter’s Office.
