Terms and Conditions

Automatically Recurring Payments. The same payment method used for the $200 sign-up special will be charged automatically in three months at the regular monthly price, based on the Sponsorship Package selected. This payment method will be automatically charged at regularly recurring intervals until the subscription is cancelled. The interval is called a renewal period. Subscriptions automatically renew for the same amount at the end of each renewal period. For example, if the $129.98 per month sponsorship package was selected on January 17 (order date), sponsor will be charged $129.98 every month on the 17th until the subscription is cancelled. Charges will appear on sponsor’s statement as CENTRAL COAST CATHOLIC.

Advertisement Creation. Following sign-up, Central Coast Catholic will design the “business card” style ad based on information provided by sponsor (text, image files, website link, etc.), and then upload the ad to the appropriate county-specific website. (A simplified ad will also be created for the weekly eNewsletter, if applicable.) All ads will link to the sponsor’s own website, social media page, or the QR Code landing page if sponsor does not have an online presence.

Price Increase. There will be no price increase for at least three years (36 months) from the order date. This only applies to sponsors who advertise on one of the Central Coast Catholic county-specific platforms for a consecutive 36 months (3 years). Sponsor will be notified of any price increase in writing via email at least 30 days before going into effect.

Positioning. Positioning of advertisements on either MontereyCatholic.net, SanBenitoCatholic.net, SantaCruzCatholic.net, or SLOCatholic.net, and in the weekly eNewsletter is at the sole discretion of Central Coast Catholic. Sponsor acknowledges that Central Coast Catholic has not made any guarantees with respect to usage, statistics, or levels of impressions for any digital advertising. To the extent Central Coast Catholic provides sponsor with estimated usage, it does so only as a courtesy to Sponsor and shall not be held liable for any claims related to usage.

Cancellation. Sponsor may cancel their advertisement at any time by logging in to their account: https://centralcoastcatholic.net/my-account/. The subscription will be canceled immediately, their digital ad removed, and sponsor will not be charged again. All sales are final; no refunds will be given.

Indemnification. Sponsor assumes all liability for content of advertising and agrees to defend, hold harmless, and indemnify Central Coast Catholic and its parent company from all claims, losses, judgments, damages, costs, and expenses of any nature whatsoever, including but not limited to reasonable attorney fees, for which Central Coast Catholic may become liable by reason of its publication of sponsor’s digital advertisement.

Liability Limitation. Liability for typographical errors, wrong insertions, and/or non-publication, or other Central Coast Catholic non-performance is limited to the amount charged to sponsor by Central Coast Catholic. In no event shall Central Coast Catholic be liable to sponsor or to any third party for any indirect, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits or unrealized business opportunity arising out of these terms and agreements or the publication of or failure to publish any advertisement.

Force Majeure. Neither party shall be held responsible for delay or failure in performance under these terms and conditions caused by acts of God, fires, floods, strikes, terrorism, work stoppages, breakdown of equipment, government action, internet or website downtime, or other causes beyond the affected parties’ reasonable control.

Governing Law. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to its conflict of laws rules or principles.

These terms and conditions remain in effect until subscription is canceled.
